The 2007 Pinot Noir Nysa Vineyard is sourced from a 1990 planting on its own roots. The aromatics offer underbrush, earth notes, and spicy red fruits. On the palate, it is already exhibiting some complexity. Smooth textured, spicy, and nicely balanced, it will drink well for a decade. Ken Wright describes 2007 as -?a really difficult year. It challenged me to be really good at farming and to be patient?Luckily it was cool and the fruit remained intact.- All things considered, it appears that Wright performed optimally in this challenging vintage with what nature provided.
