The 2006 Pinot Noir Nysa, sourced from a densely planted Dundee Hills vineyard, is medium ruby-colored with a nose of toasty cherries and cassis leading to a wine with excellent concentration and depth and the structure to evolve for 1-2 years. This lengthy effort will be at its best from 2010 to 2018.
Ken Wright Cellars remains a benchmark for Oregon Pinot Noir. Wright’s portfolio of 2006s is outstanding across the board. As has become customary, Ken Wright has pulled off a tour de force in farming and winemaking.
