The 2007 Kingpin Cabernet Sauvignon was also sourced from 2 Red Mountain vineyards and is made up of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Petit Verdot, and 4% Merlot aged in 66% new oak. Deep purple-colored, it proffers a bouquet of pain grille, pencil lead, Asian spices, lavender, black currant, and plum. Mouth-coating on the palate, this plush, buxom effort has layers of fruit, succulent flavors, and 3-4 years of aging potential It will offer a drinking window extending from 2014 to 2027.
