The monolithic, straightforward 2007 Gigondas l’Orac is fresh, but somewhat austere and superficial. The stars in Patrick Lesec’s porfolio are the superb Chateauneuf du Pape cuvees he fashions, but there are also some stunning bargains for shrewd consumers.
