The entire line is a very strong one, as the 2003 Dolcetto d’Alba Bric del Salto indicates. It is dark ruby in color, full of ripe black cherry fruit and notes of almond and mint, focused and elegant in flavor, and with pleasurable light-grained tannins on the close. One of the best Dolcettos produced to the north of Alba, it will continue to drink well for 2-3 years.
