The 2007 TINTO REGUENGOS is a blend of Trincadeira, Aragonez and Castelao. This high production wine (100,000 cases) comes in an attractive price range. The key caveat here will be: drink it as young and as fresh as possible. It will steadily become less interesting as time goes on. Although slightly more money than its sibling reviewed this issue, it is plainly a step up, providing better structure, more depth, more flesh and a more appealing texture, while retaining its sunny demeanor and intensity of flavor. It is quite delicious. There are light tannins on the finish. Drink now-2011.
