The 2012 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast is an outstanding effort that offers up plenty of sweet red and black fruit, tobacco leaf and spice to go with a medium-bodied, nicely put together feel on the palate. Showing more savory pepper and herbal notes with air, I like it as much as a number of the single-vineyard efforts. Drink it over the coming 4-5 years.
