The 2009 Reynon is a wonderfully rich wine with notes of kirsch, subtle oak, licorice and a spring flower garden. Hedonistic and essentially a generic fruit bomb, but well-made, pure, with loads of character, this wine should be drunk over het next 3-5 years.
Made by the famous Professor Denis Dubourdieu from the School of Oenology in Bordeaux, this is the best wine I think I have ever tasted from this producer of value-priced generic Bordeaux.
