Tasted at the chateau, the 2006 Teyssier has a slightly flat bouquet after ten years; it does not really spring from the glass, though Jonathan Maltus never built this Cru for long-term cellaring. The palate is smooth on the entry, but it feels smudged and lacks fruit after that, stumbling over the finish line and yelling - why didn't you drink me five or six years ago? Tasted March 2016.
