The 2008 Gewurztraminer is utterly delicious and balanced in a richly-textured expression of passion fruit, mango, sweet baking spices and molasses. The finish is long, broad and incredibly refined for a wine at this level. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2012. This is a brilliant set of entry-level wines from Tramin, a cooperative that boasts more than a century of winemaking history.
