After quite a gap, I tasted the 2016 Altos de Luzón, one of their first wines in 2000. It's a blend of 50% Monastrell and equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo that matured in barrique for one year. It has a sweet, creamy and spicy nose, quite influenced by the élevage, with plenty of oak-related flavors and a dry finish. 60,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in April 2018.
