A serious entry level effort, the 2014 Pinot Noir Santa Lucia Highlands offers lots of baked cherries, raspberry, toasted spice and earth in a medium-bodied, rounded, supple and nicely polished style. The single vineyard releases from this estate don’t come cheap, so this is a great intro into these wines.
