The 2007 Algueira Blanco Barrica is the same blend aged in French oak for 9 months. Light gold-colored, it gives up an aromatic array of honey, melon, toasted nuts, and spring flowers. On the palate it has a solid core of ripe fruit, a creamy texture, excellent balance, and a refreshing finish. It should drink well for another 3-4 years.
