The 2017 Riesling Siefersheim Porphyr shows great purity, precision and flintiness on the nose. What articulation, what precision! On the palate, this is a concentrated yet pure, fresh and bone-dry Riesling with grip, great tension and a challenging, stimulatingly salty finish. Tasted at the domaine in March 2020.

A gorgeous example, exuding passion fruit, guava and jasmine flavors, with zesty acidity and ample minerality. Very refreshing, featuring a slight up-front fizz that blows off with air.
