Revisited in bottle, Glantenay's 2019 Pommard 1er Cru Les Saussilles wafts from the glass with notes of sweet berry fruit and plums mingled with warm spices and peonies. Medium to full-bodied, seamless and elegant, with fine depth at the core, lively acids and a long, saline finish, it's already very charming, though this is reliably a site that takes some time to show its cards.
