These offerings, from the under-rated, but potentially outstanding Livermore Valley viticultural region, are remarkably full-flavored. Wine from the Trebbiano grape is rarely found in California, but Tamas's 1991 Trebbiano is a strong effort. Although the nose is subdued, the wine is bursting with rich fruit, displays gobs of glycerin, and is more flavorful and fuller-bodied than most Italian Trebbianos. It is an ideal white wine to serve with grilled seafood or poultry.
