Medium-deep garnet in color, the 2007 Grenache Shiraz (a blend of 90% Grenache and 10% Shiraz) gives pronounced aromas of warm raspberries, blackberry compote, mulberries, Indian spices, soy and black olives. Full-bodied with a medium level of silky tannins, it has plenty of expressive fruit with crisp acidity and a long, spicy finish. Drinking now, it should remain good to 2016+.
