The 2004 Grenache – Shiraz was aged entirely in used oak. The aromatics are muted but with coaxing earthy kirsch and blue fruit scents emerge. More expressive on the palate, the wine is velvety-textured, seamless, and easy-going. Made in a forward style, it is a wine to drink over the next 3-4 years. It offers good value.
