Louis Jadot's Pommard Les Epenots is one of his outstanding 1987s (it is also astonishing in 1988). The 1987 shows a captivating bouquet of toasty, smoky, vanillin oak, rich, berry fruit, a whiff of herbs, and long, flowing, deeply concentrated, silky flavors. It is too good to resist now, but should keep until 1995-1996.
