The 2006 Bembibre was produced from 85-year-old vines with malolactic fermentation in new French oak followed by 15 months of aging. Brooding black fruits, exotic spices, floral notes, and an earthy minerality inform the nose of this rich, opulent, nicely proportioned Mencia.
