The reds include a surprisingly substantial, flavorful, dark ruby-hued 2005 Vega Sindoa Tempranillo-Merlot (70% of the former and 30% of the latter), which was fermented and aged in stainless steel. It is a rich, pure, medium-bodied fruit bomb that is fun to smell, taste, and drink. Most of this fruit was previously sent to huge cooperatives to be used in innocuous blends, so it is a joy to see it now being used in these beauties.
