To my mind, the Cinq Cepages proprietary red wine offerings are not as exciting as the Reserve Merlots or Reserve Cabernet Sauvignons. The 1994 Cinq Cepages (a blend of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, 9% Cabernet Franc, 3% Malbec, and 2% Petit Verdot) is a very good, elegant, spicy, tasty, medium-bodied wine that just misses the bull's eye in terms of being exciting. It should drink well for 10-15 years.
