Charvin's 2020 Cotes du Rhone Rose contains a splash (10%) of Mourvèdre, but the balance is split between Cinsault (45%) and Grenache (45%). It's a pale salmon hue in the glass, marked by scents of musk, dried spices and lavender, plus more standard notes of peach and melon. Medium-bodied and round on the palate, it maintains a steely core of acidity that lingers on the crisp, mouthwatering finish. It's an intriguing marriage of ripeness and acids that's sure to bring you back for sip after sip.
