A longer term prospect that offers more graphite, oak, and minerality in its licorice and dark fruited core, the 2013 Cornas Terres d’Arce is tannic and backwards on the palate, with solid density and plenty of raw material. Like the Les Murettes release, it’s all from the Sabarotte lieu-dit and was completely destemmed, but it spent 12 months in 100% new French oak before being bottled. This puppy needs 3-4 years of cellaring and will keep through 2028.
