More concentrated and focused, yet still ripe, textured and medium to full-bodied, the 2012 Cornas Terres d’Arce has lots of minerality in its black and blue fruits, leather and smoked meat-like aromas and flavors. Aged 12 months in 100% new oak, it has a modern sheen, but never loses its Cornas soul. It’s an impressive, balanced effort to drink over the coming 10-15 years.
