Lighter-hued and fresher than The Stump Jump Riesling, d'Arenberg's 2019 The Dry Dam Riesling offers floral notes, hints of lime zest and green apples on the nose. It's light-bodied and rainwater-refreshing on the palate, even a touch chalky on the finish. I'd drink it young, but it should still be drinking well (albeit quite differently) in four or five years.
