LAST TASTED 5/94
The only bottle available for the vertical tasting was badly corked, and consequently unratable. A bottle culled from a friend's cellar ten days later revealed a healthy dark ruby color with some purple notes. A forward bouquet of jammy black fruits, vanillin, and herbs was followed by a medium-bodied, soft wine revealing underlying, aggressive tannin and noticeable alcohol. It is a very good, mature Cabernet Sauvignon.
