The year 2013 was a warm, dry one, bringing ripeness forward. That was the starting point for this Malbec from the Uco Valley, whose oxidative 18 months of aging still count a little against it. The developing nose suggests licorice, beeswax and a touch of syrup with a minty backdrop. In the mouth, the tannins are firm, and an alcoholic kick brings intensity and energizes the tannins. Still developing, this can be kept a little longer.
