From another Sonoma site, the 2014 Zinfandel Fredericks Vineyard (15.8% alcohol) is juicy, lush and full of fruit, with a dark ruby/purple color. It lacks the complexity of the Bedrock, but is still beautifully rich, offering loads of blackberry and black cherry fruit, full body and no hard edges, although it has enough acidity and tannin to give it structure and focus. Drink it over the next 7-8 years. This hillside vineyard was planted in 1937.
