The 2010 Pinot Noir Russian River Valley bursts from the glass with racy red raspberries, flowers, hard candy and spices. This is an extroverted style. Readers who like forward, fruit-driven Pinots will love the Russian River Pinot. It is an absolutely delicious wine for the money. The fruit was sourced from Keefer Ranch, Parsons’, Ewald and Lewis. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2015.
Adam and Dianna Lee can be counted on for juicy, forward Pinots loaded with fruit. As always, the appellation wines, which are largely made from barrels that don’t make it into the vineyard-designate wines, over-deliver for the money.
