Williams-Selyem’s 2001 Pinot Noir Ferrington Vineyard exhibits a lovely nose of raspberries and blueberries in its medium-bodied, elegant, stylish, pure personality. Wild mountain fruit characteristics are supported by a well-defined wine offering a hint of minerals, good sweetness, firm tannin, and decent acidity. It should drink well for 5-6 years.
All things considered, 2001 and 2002 are the finest back-to-back vintages I have tasted from Williams-Selyem.
