With fruit from La Morra, the Cascina Adelaide 2017 Barolo Fossati is delicate and pure. The house style at this estate has shifted considerably over the past couple of years to embrace a more elegant and streamlined style. Nowhere is this more evident than in this release of 10,000 bottles. Wild berry and cherry transition to blue flower and crushed limestone. The Fossati offers a touch of hot-vintage sweet cherry on the close.
