The 2013 Pommard 1er Cru les Vignots, which comes from high-altitude, south-facing vines and contains a little whole-cluster fruit, has a fragrant and floral bouquet with wilted rose petals infusing the redcurrant and raspberry preserve scents. The palate is medium-bodied with light tannins, but decent sappy red fruit and a touch of spice lining the finish that exerts a gentle grip.
