The unusual, lean 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon Punch was aged 18 months in French oak prior to bottling. Revealing cinnamon, herbs, and currants in the nose, medium body, and a disjointed texture, it was difficult to evaluate. Perhaps it is going through an unusual stage of its evolution.
