Costanti’s 2001 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva presents a very elegant style that reconciles modern and traditional styles with unusual grace and beauty. A translucent red, it reveals terrific detail and purity in its tobacco, ripe red cherries, tar, smoke and spices. Shows bright, almost floral aromas, with plum and cherry undertones. Full-bodied, with a solid core of ripe fruit, silky tannins and a long, bright aftertaste of citrus and berry.
