The 2007 Pinot Grigio reveals expressive aromatics that are quite typical of this varietal in Alto Adige along with a pretty core of fruit. It is a stylish Pinot Grigio made in a taut, focused style. Anticipated maturity: 2008-2009. San Pietro is a cooperative with seven member estates. While the cooperative structure isn’t always the most conducive to making high quality wines, Alto Adige is an exception in that many of its leading wineries are, in fact, coops.
