The 2022 Trellis Cabernet Merlot is sensational. Dusty forest fruits, fine, iodine-like tannins and a lovely core of raspberry tell the story of this wine, along with cassis, bramble and licorice. It's a brilliantly made, elegant wine that speaks of variety and place. It's really impressive for under $20! This was tasted blind as part of the "Value for Money" tasting in September 2023.
