The 2007 CABERNET SAUVIGNON was aged in French and American oak for 8 months. Like the ’06 Merlot reviewed here, it is pleasant but simple, with a modest finish. In fairness, the street pricing is likely to be modest, too. The year less of age makes this a bit more vibrant than the Merlot, but there are green notes on the finish which give it a vegetal nuance. Drink now-2011.All of Recanati’s wines are Kosher.
