The 2001 Serra Docile, made from the Coda di Volpe grape, reveals copious quantities of tropical fruit and peach-like aromas and flavors. This creamy-textured, explosively fruity, ripe white is a revelation from this area of Italy. Drink it over the next 1-2 years. It's a real crowd pleaser.
