The 2008 Wilderness is an eight vineyard blend of 38% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Syrah, 18% Cabernet Franc with the balance Merlot and Petit Verdot. Notes of pain grille, pencil lead, spice box, violets, blueberry, and blackberry inform the nose of a structured wine with excellent depth, savory, ripe flavors, and a lengthy finish. Give it 2-3 years of additional bottle age and drink it from 2013 to 2023.
