The 2009 Una Cepa was in barrel for 14 months. Spice box, lavender, mineral, and blackberry elements inform the nose of this layered, surprisingly elegant Tempranillo from the great 2009 vintage. Rich, voluminous, and well-balanced, it can be approached now and will continue to deliver enjoyment through 2019 if not longer. Bodegas y Vinedos Valduero was the ninth Bodega to register with the region's Consejo in the late 1980s demonstrating how recent the development in Ribera del Duero really is.
