Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2008 Church Block (a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Merlot) gives intense notes of ripe cassis, chocolate and prunes with hints of cloves and nutmeg. Full-bodied, with concentrated fruit, it has soft tannins, crisp acid and a long finish. Drinking now, it should cellar to 2016+.
