The 2005 Pinot Noir “Bryan Creek Vineyard” is medium/dark ruby-colored. It reveals darker tinged fruit, especially black cherry, followed by a firm wine with prominent acidity, a narrow band of black fruits, and a firm finish. The wine needs time, but will it blossom?
Adelsheim Vineyard was founded in 1971 and the winery’s first vintage was in 1978. David Adelsheim remains in charge as the winery has expanded into a new winery and planted more vineyard in the Chehalem Mountain AVA. In addition to Pinot Noir, the winery produces a bevy of quality white wines worthy of consumer attention.
