Marc Colin always blended his Chassagne-Montrachet Vide Bourse into his village offering, but since 1994 his sons have bottled it separately. Its floral and perfumed nose is followed by a mouth-coatingly rich, oily-textured, yet medium-bodied core of complex flavors of rock dust, chalk, and minerals. This excellent wine should be at its peak between 2000 and 2004. Importer: Robert Chadderdon Selections, New York, NY; tel (212) 775-8185.
