The 2011 Collio Pinot Grigio is an impressive effort especially thanks to the momentum and drive the wine shows on the finish. Stone fruit, melon, dried lemon peel and crushed mineral take part in what is a uniquely complex bouquet (especially considering that this is Pinot Grigio, one of the most overworked grapes on the planet). Plush richness and zesty acidity make for a very lively experience. Drink: 2014-2017.
I am happily impressed by Toros. The wines show impeccable aromas and beautiful density in the mouth. Each wine is a wonderful portrait of an individual grape variety.
