This is a slightly toasty and evolved expression of Friulano. La Viarte's 2018 Friuli Colli Orientali Friulano has a broad and flat bouquet with ripe melon, cooked apple, quince and a touch of pastry or pie crust. Like the other white wines from this producer, this expression offers an amply fleshed-out texture to serve alongside some grilled artichokes. Some 13,000 bottles were made.
