The 2015 Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru offers up notes of buttered orchard fruit, peach and citrus rind, framed by toasty new oak. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, with a textural attack that gives way to a rather diffuse mid-palate and somewhat rustic finish that seems to be marked both by oak tannin and the warmth of the vintage. This isn't one of the highlights of the Olivier Leflaive portfolio this year.
