Bright in color and flavors, the 2020 Niederh?user Hermannsh?hle Riesling Auslese offers a very fine and slightly nutty bouquet of fully ripe but healthy Riesling berries. The acidity is precise and concise and lifts this delicate Auslese, whose sweetness is palatable yet everything but sticky. Still nervous on the palate, this is a light, fresh and piquant Auslese with excellent concentration and aging potential. I’d keep it untouched for at least 10 years, though. 8.5% alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted in September 2021.
