The 2015 Monthélie 1er Cru Les Duresses Blanc comes from vines planted on disintegrated limestone soil and it sees 20% new oak. It has a pleasant bouquet with subtle tropical scents, lime flower and a faint touch of smoke. The palate is balanced with a soft entry with hints of mango and citrus fruit, easygoing with a generous, slightly toffee-ish finish. Enjoy this pretty Monthélie over the next 2-4 years.
