The 2014 Pinot Noir Ridgetop comes from a vineyard owned and managed by Thomas Rivers Brown and Fred Schrader, with Ulises Valdez handling the viticultural work. One hundred percent de-stemmed, this is a darker, more C?te de Nuits styled Pinot Noir, coming from Dijon clones 115, 667 and 777. Forest floor, black cherry, blackcurrant fruit, a more voluminous, medium to full-bodied texture, and lushness are all present in this heady Pinot Noir that tips the scales at 14.4%. This is a beauty and an outstanding effort from Sojourn. Drink it over the next 5- 6 years.
